Black Site Media delivers formal military portrait photography from our studio in Alton, Hampshire, producing high-end portraiture for service personnel across the British Army, RAF and Royal Navy. This is commissioned portrait work: controlled lighting, disciplined presentation, and meticulous attention to uniform detail—built for officers, senior ranks, and anyone who wants a finished piece that stands up in print.

Portrait sessions are paced properly—no conveyor-belt approach—so the final image looks intentional rather than “processed”.

Studio base: Alton, Hampshire (by appointment). We’re well positioned for clients travelling from the South of England and key defence locations, and we routinely support portrait requirements alongside wider defence media activity.

Standard Session – £175

A formal studio portrait session designed for clean, print-ready results.

Includes:

• Up to 60-minute studio session (Alton, Hampshire)

• One subject

• Up to two uniform changes (e.g., No.1 and No.2)

• Studio lighting setup tailored to the individual and uniform presentation

• Private online gallery to choose your final images

• Two fully retouched finals (print-ready + web-ready)

• Two 10x8” prints included

Premium Session – £295

A more comprehensive sitting with additional time, more finals, and a wider set of deliverables for both formal and contemporary portrait use.

Includes:

• Up to 90-minute studio session (Alton, Hampshire)

• One subject

• Up to three uniform changes (including headgear/variations if required)

• Formal set + secondary “character” set (different lighting/background treatment)

• Priority image selection support (shortlisted picks if you want help choosing)

• Five fully retouched finals (print-ready + web-ready)

• One hero image supplied as a high-resolution file optimised for large-format print

• Four 10x8” prints included

• Sessions are by appointment only at our Alton, Hampshire studio.

• Please arrive with uniform prepared to the highest standard; we can advise in advance on presentation and what to bring.

• Turnaround: typically within 5–7 working days after selection (priority turnaround available on request).
