Black Site Media was engaged by FN Herstal to produce a controlled studio portrait series for use across defence and law-enforcement marketing, advertising, and corporate communications.

The objective was to create a consistent set of professional portraits representing military and law-enforcement personnel, aligned precisely with FN Herstal’s established brand guidelines. This included strict control of lighting, contrast, and colour management to ensure visual continuity across both digital platforms and printed media.

All imagery was captured at Black Site Media’s dedicated studio in Alton, providing a fully controlled environment to meet the technical and aesthetic requirements of a global defence brand. Soft, directional lighting was employed to produce clean, authoritative portraits while maintaining a restrained, professional tone suitable for defence-sector audiences. Colour palettes and tonal values were managed throughout production to ensure compatibility with FN Herstal’s wider marketing ecosystem.

The resulting image library delivers long-term value, providing FN Herstal with versatile, brand-consistent portrait assets suitable for advertising campaigns, product marketing, editorial use, and corporate communications across multiple regions and platforms.
